About The Position

Cottagewood is seeking a compassionate and caring Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This role is crucial in promoting the health and safety of all residents through on-site visits and ensuring staff are trained in current medical procedures and policies. The RN will also be responsible for maintaining facility compliance with regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will be able to relate professionally with residents, staff, and family members, display a positive work attitude, and collaborate effectively within a team.

Requirements

• Maintains a current state license as a Registered Nurse per state regulations.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to self-start and follow through with initiatives with a minimal amount of supervision.
• Exhibits a caring heart with a passion to care for the elderly.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using a resident record computerized system.
• Experience working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Promote the health and safety of all residents through on-site visits with residents and staff.
• Ensure staff is trained in medical procedures and policies which are current and up to date.
• Ensure that the facility is in compliance with current regulations and standards.
• Relate professionally with residents, staff and family members.
• Display a positive work attitude.
• Work as a team with other staff members.
