About The Position
St. Mary's General Hospital is seeking an LPN/LVN to provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting. The role requires clinical competence within the scope of practice and state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LPN/LVN helps maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience.
Requirements
- Current and valid state license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain it.
- IV certification upon hire, as required by the state.
Nice To Haves
- Current ACLS certificate, or obtain it within 120 days of hire.
- Current PALS certificate, or obtain it within 120 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care services in the emergency care setting.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Help maintain patient safety and provide patient comfort and care.
