About The Position

We are excited to welcome a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to our Medical Services program! This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate nursing professional who wants to make a meaningful difference in behavioral health. As part of our Medical Services team, you’ll help support the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals we serve through quality care, education, medication management, and ongoing health monitoring.

Requirements

Knowledge and understanding of individuals with serious mental illness, developmental disabilities, and co-occurring disorders.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Ability to assist individuals with problem-solving and utilize creative approaches when appropriate.
Valid driver’s license/record is required.
LPN license required.
DMV record must be submitted with application.

Nice To Haves

One year of nursing experience with individuals with serious mental illness preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide case monitoring, including assessment of health status, medication side effects, clinical stability, and other health-related needs.
Provide engaging and informative health education and training to program staff and individuals served.
Contribute to accurate and timely medical records and electronic documentation.
Oversee the ongoing management of the medication supplies room, including appropriate ordering, storage, handling, and administration of medications.
Collaborate with the medical and behavioral health teams to promote quality care and positive outcomes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
