About The Position
Freedom Square of Seminole, an upscale senior living community in Seminole, Florida, is seeking patient-centered Licensed Practical Nurses to care for residents in assisted living. The community provides a range of residential and care options, and residents may transition between independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing as their healthcare needs change. The workplace is described as having low-acuity patients, good staffing ratios, clean facilities, and a fun, caring, inclusive environment. Employees are expected to follow the community’s hospitality commitments when interacting with residents, coworkers, and guests, including treating people with respect, responding promptly, maintaining professionalism, and paying attention to details.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for residents in assisted living.
- Interact with residents, coworkers, and guests according to the community’s hospitality commitments.
- Greet residents, employees, and guests warmly, by name and with a smile.
- Treat others with courteous respect and anticipate and respond to their needs.
- Listen and respond enthusiastically in a timely manner.
- Hold oneself and others accountable, value differences, and help people feel important.
- Maintain professionalism in conduct and appearance and pay attention to details.
