About The Position
Asbury is hiring a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse at Normandie Ridge. The position involves documenting interdisciplinary progress notes that comprehensively reflect resident care; administering medications and treatments according to physician orders; maintaining accurate drug and narcotic records; reporting discrepancies and following proper disposal procedures; and collaborating with the care plan team to address residents’ needs. The role offers $35 per hour plus shift differential. Applicants will be invited to complete a required 3–5 minute questionnaire after applying.
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience in Medical/Surgical, Rehabilitation, or Geriatric Nursing.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors.
Responsibilities
- Document interdisciplinary progress notes that provide a comprehensive reflection of resident care.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date drug and narcotic records for each shift.
- Report discrepancies to the nurse manager and follow proper procedures for drug and narcotic disposal.
- Collaborate with the care plan team to assess and address residents’ physical, social, nutritional, spiritual, and activity-related needs.
