About The Position

River Falls Post Acute is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to provide direct nursing care and help ensure strong resident outcomes. The role includes administering medications and treatments, monitoring resident conditions, documenting care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Nurses also supervise and support CNAs, respond to resident needs and emergencies, and promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life while following applicable regulations.

This is a PRN role with a stated need for night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The facility is a 44-bed community in Marietta, South Carolina, in a mountain setting near Travelers Rest. It describes its workplace as close-knit, supportive, and focused on valuing and appreciating employees.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in South Carolina.
• Current CPR certification.
• Maintain all required continuing education and licensure requirements.
• Remain in good standing with the South Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Be available to work 12-hour shifts.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate and resident-focused, dependable and professional, with strong teamwork skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergencies.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Use PointClickCare (PCC) and other clinical systems as needed.
