LPN Urgent Care (per diem)
About The Position
MediQuick is a Certified Urgent Care center affiliated with MidState Medical Center, providing services ranging from care for minor illnesses and rashes to X-rays, laboratory services, and treatment of broken bones through an orthopedic surgeon. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and within the Nursing Professional Practice Framework, the LPN provides quality, cost-effective direct care to patients and families within a unit, service, or other primary area of practice. The LPN collaborates with members of the healthcare team to help patients achieve established care outcomes. The position reports to the Nurse Manager.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse license required.
- Specialization and/or specific work experience may be required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an urgent care or emergency department (ED) setting is preferred.
