About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides quality, cost-effective direct care for patients and families within a unit, service, or other primary area of practice, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider. The role collaborates with healthcare team members to help patients achieve established care outcomes and health goals. The LPN obtains, documents, and reports patient data related to the established plan of care and performs therapeutic measures under the direction of an RN or provider. The employee must be willing and able to travel to other urgent care locations as needed to provide coverage. The position is based at 915 White Plains Road in Trumbull. Shift availability is Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM, with flexibility in assigned shift times, plus one eight-hour weekend shift per month.

Requirements

Current Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
CPR certification.
Willingness and ability to travel to other urgent care locations as needed.

Nice To Haves

Medical/surgical office experience preferred.
Specialization and/or specific work experience may be required.

Responsibilities
