About The Position

North Auburn Care, part of the Caldera Care family, is hiring an LPN Unit Manager to support resident care and nursing operations at its skilled nursing facility in Auburn, Washington. The role creates and distributes daily staff assignments, monitors adherence to facility policies and procedures, supports staff training and orientation, coordinates resident care with other departments, and processes or assists with new admission orders. The position offers a starting pay rate of $42.00 per hour and a $2,500 sign-on bonus paid in quarterly installments during the first year of hire.

Requirements

Current LPN license without any enforcement action against it.
BLS certification.
Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of one year in a supervisory role in a skilled nursing setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and distribute daily work assignments to staff.
Make frequent rounds to ensure nursing staff follow facility policies and procedures, redirecting or educating staff as necessary.
Participate in training programs and assist with new staff orientation.
Work closely with other departments to coordinate resident care.
Process or assist with all new admission orders.
