LPN/RN Weekend Warrior Full Time
About The Position
Anna Maria of Aurora Inc is hiring a full-time Weekend Warrior LPN or RN for its skilled nursing facility in Aurora, Ohio. The family-owned facility has served the community for more than 60 years and describes its workplace as supportive, with dedicated, long-tenured staff and a commitment to quality resident care. The schedule is every Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. The listed salary range is $40.00–$51.00 per hour; the posting separately states that full-time Weekend Warrior LPNs can earn up to $44 per hour and RNs up to $51 per hour. The nurse will deliver and oversee resident care, administer medications and treatments, supervise and support STNA team members, communicate with physicians and families, monitor resident conditions, maintain documentation, promote a safe and compliant care environment, and assist with staff orientation and training. Applicants must hold an active Ohio LPN or RN license, have current CPR certification, and have at least one year of experience in short-term rehabilitation, a hospital, or long-term care.
Requirements
- Current, active Ohio license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
- Current CPR certification.
- At least one year of experience in short-term rehabilitation, a hospital, or long-term care.
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and oversee resident care in accordance with regulations and facility standards.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Supervise and support STNA team members.
- Communicate with physicians and families about resident status and changes.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond to clinical needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant care environment.
- Assist with staff orientation and training.
