About The Position
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) for Private Duty Nursing (PDN) roles. This position offers a chance to escape the fast-paced hospital environment and provide meaningful, one-on-one in-home nursing care to children and young adults. The role focuses on personalized care in a peaceful setting, allowing nurses to build strong relationships with patients and families.
Requirements
- Active LPN license (state required)
- Dependable, compassionate, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working independently in a home setting
- Strong communication and observational skills
Nice To Haves
- New grad or seasoned pro with specialized, hands-on training
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, in-home nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes
- Assist with daily living needs in accordance with the care plan
- Build strong, trusting relationships with patients and families
