About The Position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a part-time LPN/RN for their Addiction Medicine program in Independence, KY. Crossroads has been a leader in treating patients with opioid use disorder since 2005, providing accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Their comprehensive approach is the gold standard in care for opioid use disorder, proven to reduce overdose deaths and promote long-term recovery. Requirements

• Licensed Practical or Registered Nurse License issued in the state in which they will be practicing or a multi-state compact status license.
• License should be in good standing, unencumbered, and active.
• If applicable, disciplinary actions documented on any license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• Active and current CPR or BLS certification is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of nursing experience is preferred.
• Strong phlebotomy skills, experience drawing blood on collapsed veins is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and procedures to correctly identify patients and administer medication per the medical providers orders.
• Dispense daily and take-home medication at the dosing window.
• Coordinate care with clinical and medical staff for continuity of patient care.
• Maintain and complete accurate patient documentation including assessing for impairment.
• Ensuring medication count is accurate and completed daily.
• Follow compliance policies and procedures around documentation practices and expectations.
• Participate in nursing team meetings and cross treatment meetings.
• Connecting with patients, offering true empathy and a listening ear to those struggling.
