About The Position

Family First HomeCare is hiring compassionate LPNs for urgent pediatric home care cases throughout the Lakeland area. We have an immediate need for experienced pediatric home care nurses, especially those with high-acuity skills. Day, night, weekend, and PRN shifts are available. We offer 1:1 skilled nursing assignments, flexible scheduling, and a supportive clinical team. Requirements

• Active Florida LPN license.
• Pediatric or home care experience preferred.
• Trach/Vent experience required for high-acuity cases.
• Reliable, dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused.
• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 60 days.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component) - Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
• Must have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• High-acuity skills (Trach/Vent/Complex Care).
• Experience with G-tube, Oxygen, Seizures, Mobility, Congenital Cardiac Anomaly, Down Syndrome, Agenesis of Lung, Cerebral Palsy, TBI.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in a home setting for pediatric patients.
• Manage urgent cases, including high-acuity situations involving Trach/Vent/Complex Care.
• Administer G-tube feedings, oxygen, and medications as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs, including pulse oximetry.
• Document patient care electronically.
• Collaborate with a supportive clinical team.
• Adapt to flexible scheduling, including day, night, weekend, and PRN shifts.
