EXPERIENCED LPN Pediatric Home Care – Urgent Cases | Davenport, FL
About The Position
Family First HomeCare, now part of Aveanna Healthcare, is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for urgent pediatric home care cases throughout the Davenport, FL area, including Haines City, Kissimmee, Plant City, and Lake Wales. We offer a variety of shifts including day, night, weekend, and school-based opportunities. Requirements
- Active Florida LPN license.
- Pediatric or home care experience preferred.
- Trach/Vent experience required for high-acuity cases.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused.
- Current CPR certification (with hands-on component) - Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice.
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 60 days.
Nice To Haves
- Cardiac care experience preferred for school-based cases.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in a home setting.
- Manage high-acuity cases involving Trach/Vent/Complex Care, G-tubes, Oxygen, Seizures, and Mobility.
- Accompany patients during school days for school-based cases.
- Administer medications.
- Perform electronic documentation.
- Collaborate with a supportive clinical team and local operators.
