About The Position

Medcor is looking to hire a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to be an Onsite Clinic Lead in our employer-based occupational health clinic in Memphis, TN. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8:00pm-6:30am. The compensation for this position is $33.00-$42.00/hour based upon licensure and experience. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Current LPN/LVN, or RN license/certification.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience in your field.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clients and coworkers.
  • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and client service.

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of clinical experience.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Occupational health, employee health, workers' compensation, or workplace safety experience.
  • Experience with medical record documentation and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operations of an onsite occupational health clinic.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and assist with training and mentoring team members.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client communications when clinic leadership is unavailable.
  • Provide triage, assessment, treatment, referral, and follow-up care for workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Perform occupational health services including drug and alcohol testing, hearing conservation, spirometry, fit testing, and other employment-related screenings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Conduct chart audits and assist with quality improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with onsite management, Human Resources, Environmental Health & Safety, and other stakeholders to support employee health and wellness programs.
  • Assist with clinic inventory management, reporting, compliance activities, and annual clinic audits.
