About The Position

McKenney Home Care is a family-owned private-duty home care agency providing compassionate, one-on-one care to clients in the comfort of their homes. We are currently hiring a dependable LPN or RN for a private-duty nursing case in Bonita Springs. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys one-on-one care, routine nursing visits, client relationship-building, and working independently in a private home setting. The nurse will provide routine private-duty nursing support, including medication-related care, eye drop administration, observation, documentation, and communication with the office team. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working independently while following the client’s care plan.

Requirements

• Active Florida LPN or RN license required
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required
• Current hands-on CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
• TB screening completed within the required timeframe
• Eligibility for Level 2 AHCA background screening for the State of Florida

• Private-duty home care, home health, assisted living, skilled nursing, or related experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed eye drops as ordered
• Take and document vital signs as assigned
• Provide medication reminders and support as appropriate
• Assist with client safety reminders and routine care needs
• Observe and report changes in condition, pain, concerns, or safety issues
• Complete required nursing documentation for each shift
• Communicate professionally with the office team and client’s family as needed
• Follow the established care plan and agency policies
• Maintain client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times
