About The Position

Devereux Massachusetts is seeking dedicated LPNs or RNs to join their Medically Complex Program, which serves youth with complex medical needs requiring 24-hour nursing care. Many of these youth may also have sensory impairments, Intellectual Disabilities, physical impairments, self-care skill deficits, or require medical equipment. The program utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach to meet individual needs and provide enriching opportunities for growth and learning, with the goal of helping each child reach their full potential. Nurses at Devereux work with other dedicated professionals, have the opportunity to work closely with vulnerable individuals, and contribute to improving their lives.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Massachusetts.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.
  • Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
  • Devereux fosters a culture of reporting abuse, and will cooperate with the authorities to the fullest extent possible.
