About The Position

Our prestigious Neurology Medical Office is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team of professionals. This role provides assistance in providing excellent patient care by assisting physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office settings. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by the physician. The position is located in Kingman, Arizona.

Requirements

LPN Candidates: Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program and High school or Equivalent
Current, valid Arizona LPN license or compact state LPN/LVN license
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
MA Candidates: High School or Equivalent
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
MA Candidates: Must meet one of the following three criteria: Has attended a medical assistant training program accredited by one of the following: The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools
MA Candidates: If your Medical Assistant program was not accredited by one of the above agencies, you will need to have a Medical Assistant Certification issued by one of the following. If needed, we will assist you in obtaining a CCMA certification: National Healthcareer Association: CCMA, American Medical Technologists: RMA, American Association of Medical Assistants: AAMA, National Center for Competency Testing: NCMA, American Medical Certification Association: CMAC
MA Candidates: Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States
Work Requirements: Able to distinguish appropriate colors, ability to work above or below shoulder level, life to 50 pounds, and walk or be on feet 90% of the day.
Expected duties have routine potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues, to chemicals, biological, and radioactive substance.
