About The Position

This position provides assistance in providing excellent patient care by assisting physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office settings. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by the physician.

Requirements

  • LPN Candidates: Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program and High school or Equivalent
  • Current, valid Arizona LPN license or compact state LPN/LVN license
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
  • MA Candidates: High School or Equivalent
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
  • MA Candidates: Must meet one of the following three criteria: Has attended a medical assistant training program accredited by one of the following: The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools
  • MA Candidates: If your Medical Assistant program was not accredited by one of the above agencies, you will need to have a Medical Assistant Certification issued by one of the following. If needed, we will assist you in obtaining a CCMA certification: National Healthcareer Association: CCMA, American Medical Technologist: RMA, American Association of Medical Assistants: AAMA, National Center for Competency Testing: NCMA, American Medical Certification Association: CMAC
  • MA Candidates: Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States
