About The Position

This position is for an LPN or MA in an Urgent Care setting. The LPN will adhere to all standards of nursing practice, manage supplies and equipment under the direction of a provider, department manager, or RN, promote teamwork, and follow orders for patient care and treatment according to Henry County Hospital policies and procedures. The MA will assist providers in direct patient care and adhere to Henry County Hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• LPN: Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nurses
• LPN: Currently licensed in the State of Ohio
• LPN: BLS certified
• MA: High school diploma or GED
• MA: BLS certified

Nice To Haves

• MA: Graduate from an accredited school for Medical Assistant
• MA: Proof of certification as a Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Adhering to all standards of nursing practice
• Managing supplies and equipment with the direction of the provider, department manager or RN in charge
• Promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments
• Following orders for care and treatment of the patient
