About The Position
Responsible for assisting with professional nursing care for SIH patients. The role assists a physician or mid-level provider in an office setting and supports patient care needs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an LPN program or be a Certified Medical Assistant.
- Current Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse license or Certified Medical Assistant certification.
- BLS required.
- No technical experience necessary.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and plan patient care needs.
- Assist a physician or mid-level provider in an office setting.
- Set up, stock, and clean patient rooms as needed.
- Provide patient and family instructions.
- Assist in the orientation of new employees and students.
