LPN or Certified Medical Assistant - Urgent Care

About The Position
Responsible for assisting with professional nursing care for SIH patients. The role assists a physician or mid-level provider in an office setting and helps evaluate and plan patient care needs. The employee also prepares, stocks, and cleans patient rooms, provides instructions to patients and families, and assists with orienting new employees and students.
Requirements
- Graduate of an LPN program or Certified Medical Assistant.
- Current Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse license or Certified Medical Assistant credential.
- BLS certification required.
- No experience necessary.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and plan patient care needs.
- Assist a physician or mid-level provider in an office setting.
- Set up, stock, and clean patient rooms as needed.
- Provide patient and family instructions.
- Assist in the orientation of new employees and students.
