About The Position

The Robert C. Byrd Clinic, on the campus of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or CCMA) for our pediatric department. Perform all patient care functions within the scope of practice of a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant in the clinic setting.

Requirements

• One year of experience as a licensed practical nurse or certified medical assistant in a primary care clinic setting (highly preferred).
• Strong computer skills, preferably with experience on an Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform.
• Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
• Valid West Virginia LPN License or national certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcare Association (NHA); or the ability to obtain within ninety (90) days.
• Current BLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Perform all patient care functions within the scope of practice of a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant in the clinic setting.
