LPN - Observation Unit
About The Position
We are searching for individuals who are compassionate, serve with a purpose, are dedicated to supporting their team, and who seek excellence every day. This is a Part-Time position with 24 hours per week, scheduled Monday through Thursday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Weekends are not part of the schedule, and holidays are on a rotation. The role involves using the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for individual patients, collaborating with other healthcare team members, and evaluating patient responses to interventions and status toward goal achievement. The LPN will accept delegated nursing measures for which they are prepared, qualified, and licensed to perform.
Requirements
- Graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program.
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) LPN license.
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Successful completion of orientation.
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
