About The Position

Fairview Range is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant to join the specialty care team at the Fairview Mesaba Clinic in Hibbing, Minnesota. The role provides high-quality health care across the lifespan, from newborn to geriatric, and serves as a clinical and organizational resource to Clinic Providers and Support Services in coordinating nursing care. The position will primarily cover OB/GYN and be based in Hibbing, with coverage in Nashwauk and Mountain Iron as needed. The schedule is part-time, 32–64 hours per two weeks, with 8-hour day/evening shifts and weekends as needed. Fairview Mesaba Clinics offer a broad range of primary and specialty care services. The specialty care team includes more than 35 providers and 40 support staff, across departments such as surgical services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, allergy, wound care, and podiatry.

Requirements

Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license upon hire.
Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross within 180 days.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize patient care needs.
Ability to function under pressure and in stressful situations.
Ability to make informed decisions, operate autonomously, and prioritize patient care needs.
