About The Position

Brookdale Maltsberger is hiring a full-time LPN/LVN for the second shift at its 37-apartment assisted living community in San Antonio, Texas. The nurse helps maintain a physical, social, and psychological environment that supports residents’ interests; monitors and documents care according to physician-prescribed treatment plans; and administers medications while maintaining the cleanliness and security of the medicine supply room and following company procedures. An LPN or LVN license is required under applicable state regulations.

Responsibilities

Help maintain a physical, social, and psychological environment in the best interest of residents.
Monitor residents’ care according to physician-prescribed treatment plans and document responses to care plans.
Administer medications.
Maintain the cleanliness and security of the medicine supply room.
Follow company systems, procedures, and processes.
