About The Position

Juniper Communities is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to assist with day-to-day operations in a 17-bed skilled nursing facility. The role focuses on maintaining residents’ safety, functional ability, and overall wellbeing through ongoing assessment, appropriate interventions, communication, and regulatory-compliant documentation. The LPN also supports teamwork and supervision within the Wellness Department.

This is a part-time position working 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with every other weekend required. The listed pay is $30 per hour.

Requirements

• Current LPN license.
• Knowledge of all applicable governmental regulations.
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of older adults.

Nice To Haves

• Current BLS certification.
• Previous management experience in a healthcare or service-related field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident safety in a 17-bed facility by continually assessing residents for changes in condition, mood, behavior, or level of function.
• Implement appropriate interventions to maintain residents’ highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.
• Act as a liaison among residents, family members, and other team members to support effective communication and appropriate care.
• Make written and oral reports to the leadership team and complete assigned paperwork in accordance with applicable federal, state, local, and company regulatory standards.
• Help establish rapport and maintain teamwork throughout the Wellness Department.
• Assist with ongoing supervision, oversight, and delegation within the Wellness Department, including training, disciplining, counseling, motivating, and evaluating.
