About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with 18 locations across 7 states, offering medical and clinical treatment across all levels of care, including detox, residential, PHP IOP, and outpatient services. The center is JCAHO and CARF accredited and complies with ASAM standards. They are hiring a part-time or full-time LPN for overnight shifts (7pm-7am) on Thursdays and Fridays, with an option for a Wednesday day shift (7am-7pm). The position is located at Avenues Recovery Center at Lake Ariel, a 40-bed residential facility nestled in the Poconos mountains, providing drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. The LPN will contribute to a homey yet modern establishment that offers round-the-clock supervision and care in a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental atmosphere.

Requirements

• Minimum one year diploma program post - high school
• Current LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings
