About The Position
Bethany Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care and support. In this role, you'll administer medications and treatments, monitor client health, collaborate with physicians and families, and help ensure each individual receives personalized, high-quality care. Position Overview: Oversee aspects of care in accordance with physician's orders, resident, and family needs.
Requirements
- LPN license
- Dispensing meds and medical aspects.

- Ability to practice choice theory may also be required.
- Must be able to communicate with staff, residents, and the families of the residents.
- Resident-focused at all times, while acting as a pleasant professional is essential.
- Task-centeredness, punctuality, and a pleasant demeanor are beneficial to successful performance in this position.
- Previous long-term care or home care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coach & lead those staff members reporting to LPN - work as one 'Team' to keep things running smoothly.
- Responsible for dispensing medications to residents.
- Charting & paperwork - Ensures all reporting requirements are met and completes all required paperwork; i.e. infection control, accident/incident reports, etc.
- Sterile technique / aseptic technique.
- Skin assessment, decubitus care, dressings / irrigations, catheterization, topical applications.
- Assists with issues that arise while on duty.
- Assist with wing staff evaluations.
- Assist with physician orders.
- Working with residents and staff.
- All other duties as assigned.
