About The Position
As a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Dialysis department at Seneca Ridge, you are key to the success of operations and compassionate patient care. The position is based in Rochester, New York, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week on days and evenings, with rotating weekends.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing or have an ASN or BSN in Nursing.
- Current licensure in New York State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) certification through the NYS Office of Professions.

- One year of experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Promote and restore patients’ health by completing the nursing process.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Perform various treatment procedures.
- Provide physical, educational, and emotional support to patients, friends, and families.
- Supervise assigned team members.
- Administer medication and give and receive relevant written and verbal reports from and to appropriate staff according to departmental protocols.
- Ensure concise, pertinent, and complete documentation using the computerized medical record process.
- Ensure clinical areas are properly supplied and exam rooms are available and stocked.
