About The Position

Pro Med Healthcare Services is seeking LPNs and CNAs for PRN shifts in Detox/Behavioral Health. The ideal candidate has experience in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, medical detoxification and stabilization, and is proficient in KIPU EMR documentation. Day and Night shifts are available. This is a great opportunity to earn extra money, especially with the holiday season approaching.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in the state of Florida OR Active CNA License in State of Florida
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (detox, behavioral health, or SUD preferred)
• Knowledge of withdrawal management protocols
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience using KIPU EMR strongly preferred
• Medical detox or residential treatment setting
• Familiarity with CIWA-Ar and COWS scales
• Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and intake evaluations
• Monitor and assess withdrawal symptoms (CIWA, COWS protocols)
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Monitor vital signs and patient status
• Document all care and assessments accurately in KIPU EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical team
• Provide patient education and emotional support
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
