About The Position

Adena Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Clinic Tier 2 or a Medical Assistant (MA) Tier 2 for their Dermatology department. The LPN will provide nursing care under the supervision of an RN, physician, or APP, focusing on safe, patient-centered care and clinic operations. The MA will provide direct patient care and administrative support under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program in Practical Nursing.
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio required
• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program
• Registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years preferred experience in a similar capacity.
• Medical Office experience
• 1-2 years’ experience in medical office or similar capacity.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care in a clinical setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), physician, or advanced practice provider (APP).
• Delivers safe, patient-centered care in compliance with established clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Contributes to optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations.
• Utilizes fundamental clinical skills and applies moderate to advanced-complexity clinical skills and knowledge in daily practice, often in high-complexity or specialized settings.
• Performs direct patient care and administrative functions.
• Actively collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to maintain the highest standards of quality and service.
• Provides compassionate, respectful, and effective care while adhering to the scope of practice.
• Works under the direct supervision of a licensed healthcare professional, i.e. physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse (RN).
• Delivers care in a clinic setting and provides safe, patient-centered care in accordance with established clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Provides administrative support.
• Upholds the highest standards of quality and service.
