Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Practical Nursing (for LPN role).
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio required (for LPN role).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar capacity preferred (for LPN role).
  • Medical Office experience (for LPN role).
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program (for MA role).
  • Registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) (for MA role).
  • 1-2 years’ experience in medical office or similar capacity (for MA role).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a similar capacity (1-2 years preferred for LPN role).
  • Experience in medical office or similar capacity (1-2 years for MA role).

Responsibilities

  • Provides nursing care in a clinical setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), physician, or advanced practice provider (APP).
  • Delivers safe, patient-centered care in compliance with established clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Contributes to optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations.
  • Utilizes fundamental clinical skills and applies moderate to advanced-complexity clinical skills and knowledge, often in high-complexity or specialized settings.
  • Performs direct patient care.
  • Handles administrative functions.
  • Actively collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Maintains the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Works under the direct supervision of a licensed healthcare professional (physician, APP, or RN) as a Medical Assistant.
  • Provides direct patient care and administrative support as a Medical Assistant.
  • Upholds the highest standards of quality and service as a Medical Assistant.
  • Aligns with organizational values by delivering compassionate, respectful, and effective care as a Medical Assistant.
  • Adheres to the scope of practice for Medical Assistants.
