About The Position

Adena Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (MA) for their Family Medicine clinic in Waverly. This is a full-time, days position. The LPN will deliver comprehensive nursing care under the supervision of an RN, physician, or APP, focusing on safe, patient-centered care. The MA will work under the direct supervision of a licensed healthcare professional, also providing safe, patient-centered care. Both roles involve direct patient care, administrative support, and collaboration with the healthcare team, aligning with organizational values of compassion, excellence, integrity, and trust.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Practical Nursing (for LPNs).
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio required.
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program (for MAs).
  • Registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) (for MAs).
  • 1-2 years’ experience in medical office or similar capacity preferred.

  • Experience in a similar capacity 1-2 years preferred.
  • Medical Office experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), physician, or advanced practice provider (APP).
  • Provide safe, patient-centered care in accordance with established clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize foundational to moderate-complexity clinical skills and knowledge in daily practice.
  • Contribute to optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations.
  • Perform direct patient care.
  • Provide administrative support.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Deliver compassionate, respectful, and effective care.
  • Adhere to the scope of practice defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing (for LPNs) or scope of practice for Medical Assistants.
