Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital’s Gynecology & Women’s Health department is nationally recognized for providing comprehensive gynecologic care. From common to complex gynecologic conditions, the department delivers evidence-based care to patients. As an LPN for Gynecology Surgery, you will collaborate with fellow caregivers to provide exceptional, high-quality care to a diverse patient population. In this role, you will make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives while developing your nursing skills through hands-on experience and the many educational resources available throughout the Cleveland Clinic system. This role provides the opportunity to expand your nursing skills through hands-on clinical experience, ongoing education, and professional development while making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of patients across the lifespan. A caregiver in this role works days from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Graduate of Accredited LPN program
• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Certification
• Knowledge of infection control practices
• Computer literacy

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical experience
• Previous gynecology or women’s health experience

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date documentation in medical records and files.
• Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.
• Implement pain management assessments and documentation.
• Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.
• Follow Code Blue protocol.
• Knowledge of all aspects of patient care including assessing; planning, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the patient's progress through the entire continuum of car in conjunction with the R.N. or physician.
