About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within the scope of practice. The role addresses psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care and meets the communication needs of patients and their families. The employee works under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse and demonstrates knowledge of EMTALA regulations and the triage process in the emergency room setting.

Requirements

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Nice To Haves

• IV certification upon hire preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in an applicable setting preferred.
