About The Position

The Department of Ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking board-eligible/board-certified optometrists to join our established academic practice. The positions involve clinical care of patients including comprehensive eye care and complete ocular health assessments in collaboration with physicians and technicians. Specific interests in Low Vision/Brain Rehabilitation is preferred. Candidates should be residency-trained and willing to participate in the department’s academic activities. The department has 40 members who cover all subspecialty areas of ophthalmology, providing services for more than 80,000 patients per year.
