Lounge Floor Attendant (Full Time)
About The Position
The Lounge Floor Attendant delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain and ensures events are executed accurately during the shift. Duties may include driving a catering delivery truck. The role involves setting up and serving at functions, cleaning the event area during and after events, breaking down setups, leaving areas neat and clean, and returning leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly. The position is located at American Airlines, 2040 N International Parkway, Grapevine, Texas. It is a full-time role with days and hours that may vary; weekends and holidays are required. The fixed pay rate is $18.87 per hour. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until openings are filled.
Requirements
- Customer service experience required.
- Food service experience required.
- A valid driver's license may be required.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
- Log and maintain food temperatures.
- Arrange tables and decorations.
- Arrange buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Clean the location thoroughly after an event.
- Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
- Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
- Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
- Provide guests with friendly, courteous service at all times.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- May drive a catering delivery truck.
