About The Position
Huntington Hyundai / Genesis is hiring a dependable, hardworking Lot Porter / Lot Attendant to help keep the dealership running smoothly and its inventory looking its best. The role is based in Huntington, New York, pays $18 or more per hour, and is full-time. No experience is required; training will be provided to the right person.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to work in all weather.
- Able to stand, walk, and be on their feet for most of the shift.
- Positive attitude and a team-player mindset.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to drive a manual transmission.
- Prior experience is not required; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Move and park vehicles around the lot, service drive, and showroom.
- Keep the lot clean, organized, and customer-ready.
- Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicles as needed.
- Shuttle customers and run errands for parts and dealer trades.
- Help with vehicle check-in, deliveries, and inventory counts.
- Assist the sales and service teams wherever needed.
