About The Position

The Lot Porter / Valet / Driver cares for vehicles, dealership property, and customers. The role maintains the dealership’s internal and external appearance and cleanliness, moves and merchandises vehicles, and delivers vehicles to other sites as needed. It also involves greeting and assisting customers, running store errands, and performing other duties as assigned. The employee may be asked by a supervisor to perform other duties and responsibilities, and the job description may be revised at the company’s discretion.

Requirements

Safely operate a wide variety of vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions.
Be a reliable team player focused on providing an exceptional customer experience.
Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic.
Be able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
Have effective interpersonal communication skills.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Have an acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

Care for vehicles, dealership property, and customers.
Maintain the internal and external appearance and cleanliness of the dealership.
Move vehicles to maintain vehicle display.
Deliver vehicles to other sites and locations as needed.
Merchandise vehicles to appeal to customers.
Greet and assist customers as needed.
Run miscellaneous errands for the store.
Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by a supervisor.
