Lot Operations Specialist II (Manheim)
About The Position
This role coordinates Lot Operations activities for an assigned location. Responsibilities include handling vehicle check-in, ensuring proper identification stickers and labels are affixed, and entering vehicle identification information into company computer/tracking systems. The specialist will conduct periodic scanning of vehicles to verify inventory, ensure vehicles are placed in proper order for sale, and tag/coordinate the movement of disabled vehicles from the staging area. Communication with other units in the auction process is key for coordinated staging efforts. The role also involves entering vehicle data into the computer/data management system, monitoring vehicle movement through all processing within the assigned quadrant, and conducting lane captain duties for various sales events. Additionally, the specialist may lead bulk, staging, or EV crews as instructed by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of related work experience, OR any degree or certification above a High School Diploma/GED plus 1 year of related work experience, OR 5 years of related work experience.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
Responsibilities

- Handles vehicle check-in duties, ensuring that all proper identification stickers and labels are properly affixed to arriving vehicles and entering vehicle identification information into company computer / tracking systems.
- Conducts periodic scanning of vehicles to verify assigned inventory.
- Ensures vehicles are placed in proper order for sale.
- Tags and coordinates movement of disabled vehicles from staging area.
- Communicates with other units in the auction process to ensure coordinated staging efforts.
- Enters vehicle data into computer / data management system.
- Monitors vehicle movement through all processing within assigned quadrant.
- Conducts lane captain duties for regular, highline, 100 Grander and CCE Sales.
- Leads any bulk, staging or EV crew as needed and instructed by management.
