About The Position

You’ll stay active throughout the day assisting with vehicle detailing, organizing and moving cars on the lot, and supporting the overall flow of dealership operations. This role offers valuable, hands-on experience and is often a stepping stone into future positions in Sales or Service. Tonkin Hillsboro Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is seeking a Lot Attendant/Porter to join our dealership team. Many of our Sales Representatives and Technicians began in this very role, making it an excellent starting point for long-term career growth. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, great people skills, and a positive, team-first attitude.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Driver’s License
• Must be 18 years or older
• Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license
• Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug testing

Responsibilities

• Perform check-in inspections of vehicles on the service drive and park them in designated areas
• Pull vehicles up and deliver to guests upon completion
• Provide quality customer service to guests
• Maintain an orderly appearance of vehicle displays
• Clean and fuel vehicles for customer handover
• Assist service advisors as necessary
• Other duties as needed to help support the Service team
