Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to upsell maintenance services ethically and effectively
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Basic understanding of automotive maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn dealership management systems
  • Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • automotive service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally in the express service lane
  • Consult with customers regarding routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections
  • Accurately write repair orders and verify customer and vehicle information
  • Clearly explain recommended services, pricing, and estimated completion times
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of express services
  • Monitor workflow in the express lane to maintain efficiency and minimize wait times
  • Keep customers informed of service progress and notify them of any additional recommendations
  • Process payments and ensure all documentation is completed accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming service drive area
  • Follow dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines to ensure compliance and quality standards
  • Support the Service Team with additional tasks as needed to maintain smooth daily operations
