Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license that meets the requirements.
  • Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes, including tow trucks, forklifts, and the service truck.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and applications.
  • Obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle outside conditions.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Team player who can collaborate well with multiple departments, customers, and vendors.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask while maintaining strict attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage deliverables and metrics against aggressive targets and timelines.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Automotive or auction experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support lot operations by preparing and staging vehicles for sale, including stickering, marking vehicles, moving vehicles using a lot tow truck or forklift, and operating the service truck.
  • Scan the lot and use electronic devices to record the movement of vehicles on the property to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with vehicle readiness tasks such as jumping vehicles, adding fluids, adding air to tires, and verifying vehicle status.
  • Handle the removal of personal property from vehicles.
  • Communicate with shop and operations teams to ensure an efficient flow of inventory.
  • Provide customer service support and coordinate with administrative teams for efficient execution of sale day activities.
  • Confirm vehicle mileage, make year, and VIN for accurate record-keeping.
  • Maintain work areas to ensure a safe environment and report any incidents or hazards.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the designated manager.
