About The Position

We’re looking for a Loss Prevention Training Manager who is motivated by driving high‑impact training programs that strengthen core loss prevention capabilities across the organization. In this role, you’ll lead strategic planning, governance, and continuous improvement of scalable LP training solutions while partnering closely with internal and external collaborators. You will ensure our learning programs deliver meaningful, measurable results. Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a training and development role required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
  • Demonstrated facilitation of training sessions and meetings; excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills; strong editing, proofreading, and design abilities; ability to influence business partners and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, including issue management, evaluation of information, and generation of practical solutions.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, leverage prior experience, make sound decisions, revise strategies, and support departmental vision in a changing work environment.
  • Proven organizational and project management capabilities, including defining requirements, timelines, and risks.
  • Team-oriented yet able to work independently, manage time effectively, and take full ownership of projects from design through execution.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of TJXC loss prevention training programs, or experience with LP training at a similar scale of organization an asset.
  • Articulate and Adobe Suite considered an asset.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and French (Quebec) and post-secondary education/diploma in Adult Learning or Communications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements a 3–12‑month LP training strategy aligned to organizational priorities, contributing to the broader LP Training roadmap while ensuring resources support future delivery needs.
  • Leads the Train‑the‑Trainer framework, manages facilitator certification for in‑person and virtual delivery, mentors trainers on guidelines, and provides ongoing evaluation and feedback to support capability development.
  • Uses analytics, participant feedback, and facilitator insights to identify training gaps, prioritize high‑risk areas, and measure program impact on shrink reduction and compliance, recommending continuous improvements.
  • Partners with LP Field leadership and cross‑functional partners to align training with business needs, manages the LP Learning Calendar and facilitation resources, and leads or contributes to annual and special projects as required.
