About The Position

The Physical Security Specialist serves as a critical safeguard for organizational assets, ensuring the protection of people, property, and facilities. This high-visibility role requires a refined combination of analytical awareness, risk assessment expertise, and strong interpersonal skills to successfully manage a dynamic and security-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal);
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk identification;
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team;
  • A calm, professional demeanor with the ability to respond to high-pressure situations;
  • Associate's degree (required) or 0–2 years of professional experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, vendors, and external security partners to ensure seamless protection of facilities and personnel.
  • Meticulously monitor and evaluate security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm networks, ensuring full adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct detailed risk assessments and execute security protocols with precision, including incident response and emergency procedures.
  • Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities proactively to prevent breaches, safety risks, or unauthorized access.
  • Conduct internal investigations into theft, fraud, or operational discrepancies.
  • Create and implementing loss prevention policies, procedures, and staff training programs.
