About The Position

The Loss Prevention Specialist works at the HomeGoods Distribution Center in Brownsburg, Indiana. Nice To Haves

• One year of security or loss prevention experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify all forms of loss within the Distribution Center.
• Review CCTV and access systems for evidence of theft, mishandling of company property, and other security violations.
• Conduct basic investigations into associate dishonesty and discover and document facts.
• Perform physical security checks of the building and trailer yard to ensure security standards are met.
• Conduct loss prevention, safety, and shrinkage awareness programs for associates and management staff.
• Ensure policies and procedures are consistently followed.
• Report unsafe conditions and acts to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain logs and prepare reports as necessary.
• Conduct safety and security tours of the shipping center to identify unsafe acts and program weaknesses.
• Perform other duties as required.
