About The Position

The D/C Loss Prevention Specialist protects company assets—including people, property, and information—at a TJX Distribution Center. The role monitors key areas and activities throughout the facility, oversees merchandise entering and leaving, ensures trailers are processed, and helps maintain fire and safety regulations. The specialist conducts CCTV surveillance, investigates potential dishonest activity, handles situations professionally, and maintains integrity and confidentiality. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The position is eligible for a second-shift differential of $1.25 per hour. The posting lists starting pay ranges of $15.13–$20.10 per hour and, in the location section, $15.65–$21.10 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred but not required.
Education pertaining to the Criminal Justice field is preferred but not required.
Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Protect company assets, including people, property, and information.
Monitor shipping and receiving docks, trailer yard activities, alarm systems, access controls, parking lots, and other key Distribution Center areas.
Oversee most merchandise entering or leaving the facility.
Maintain established fire and safety regulations within the Distribution Center.
Ensure incoming and outgoing trailers are processed.
Handle situations effectively and professionally.
Conduct CCTV surveillance and investigate potential dishonest activity.
Display integrity and maintain confidentiality.
