This position is responsible for conducting key control audits, monitoring electronic key boxes, issuing/receiving master keys, radios, and beepers, and ensuring the safekeeping of these items. The role involves patrolling all areas of the property, assisting guests with room access, and monitoring Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems. The Loss Prevention Lead will respond to accidents, administer first aid/CPR as required, and assist guests and employees during emergency situations. This role also includes notifying appropriate individuals of incidents, defusing guest/employee disturbances, and calling for outside assistance when necessary. Completing incident reports, resolving safety hazards, and escorting unwelcome persons from the property are key duties. The position also requires reporting to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts, using proper code responses, and completing a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report. Maintaining confidentiality of all reports and documents, and releasing information only to authorized individuals are essential. Providing proper paperwork to employees requiring outside medical treatment, and typing, proofreading, and copying security reports are also part of the role. Additionally, the Lead will assist management in training and motivating, serve as a role model, and assign and ensure work tasks are completed on time. The role also emphasizes following all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions, maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and providing excellent guest service. This includes welcoming and acknowledging guests, anticipating and addressing service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and thanking guests with appreciation. Communication skills are important, including speaking clearly and professionally, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately, and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette. Developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are also expected. The role requires ensuring quality assurance expectations and standards are met. Some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements. The position involves reading and visually verifying information, inspecting tools and equipment, entering and locating work-related information using computers, and moving at a speed required to respond to work situations. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects (up to 50 lbs without assistance, over 75 lbs with assistance), grasping and manipulating objects with fine motor skills, moving through narrow or elevated spaces, and moving over sloping or uneven surfaces, including stairs and ramps. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is also required. Other reasonable job duties may be requested by Supervisors.
