About The Position

This position is responsible for conducting key control audits, monitoring electronic key boxes, issuing and receiving master keys, radios, and beepers, and ensuring the safekeeping of these items. The role involves patrolling all areas of the property, assisting guests with room access, and monitoring Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems. The Lead Loss Prevention Officer will respond to accidents, administer first aid/CPR as required, and assist guests and employees during emergency situations. This role also includes notifying appropriate individuals of incidents, defusing guest/employee disturbances, and calling for outside assistance when necessary. Responsibilities also encompass completing incident reports, resolving safety hazard situations, escorting unwelcome persons from the property, and reporting to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts. The position requires calling for assistance using proper code responses, completing a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report, and maintaining the confidentiality of all reports and documents. Additionally, the role involves providing proper paperwork to employees requiring outside medical treatment, typing, proofreading, and copying security reports, and assisting management in training and motivating staff while serving as a role model. The Lead Loss Prevention Officer will assign and ensure work tasks are completed on time. The role also requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, ensuring a clean and professional appearance, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets. A key aspect of the role is welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing guests’ service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and thanking guests with genuine appreciation. Communication skills are essential, including speaking with others using clear and professional language, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately and completely, and answering telephones using appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and listening and responding appropriately to employee concerns are also crucial. The role ensures quality assurance expectations and standards are met. Some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements. The position requires reading and visually verifying information, visually inspecting tools and equipment, entering and locating work-related information using computers, moving at a speed required to respond to work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog), and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. Physical requirements include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects, with specific weight limits and assistance requirements. Fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to move through various spaces and over different surfaces are necessary. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is also part of the job duties. Other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

Responsibilities
